Everything's Golden With The Goldens...

This is due to be released on May 27th and WOW it's worth picking up.
We Are the GoldensWe Are the Goldens by Dana Reinhardt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ok. WOW. This book was incredibly intense, especially for a YA novel. The subject matter is very delicate and the author handles it very well with Nell, the younger sister, torn between keeping a secret that is tearing older sister Layla's life to shreds and telling the secret to an adult and facing her sister's wrath, possibly destroying their close relationship. She struggles with keeping this big secret and continuing her role as family peacemaker or spilling what she knows and turning her seemingly perfect sister in to her parents and destroying a favorite teacher in the process.

It is incredibly well written and will keep the reader turning pages til the end. My only fault with the story is the abrupt ending that made me say "What! Nooooo... what's next???!!!"

Blind Faith (Sin Brothers, #3)Blind Faith by Rebecca Zanetti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can I say except that I'm in love with the Dean/Grey brothers! Blind Faith follows Nate Dean in his quest to help find a way to deactivate his and the other brothers kill chips, implanted by the Commander's medical team. To find the secret facility that the brothers suspect holds the key to deactivating their chips, he enlists the help of Audrey Madison, Dr. Isobel Madison's daughter who broke Nate's heart five years before and was badly injured when the brothers finally made their escape from the Commander. Blind Faith was an awesome addition to the ongoing story of the brother's fight to gain their freedom from a oppressive madman and to find peace with who and what they are.

The Darkest Craving (Lords of the Underworld #10) by Gena Showalter

I know I'm a bit late reading this but here's my review:
The Darkest Craving (Lords of The Underworld, #10)The Darkest Craving by Gena Showalter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I finally got around to reading The Darkest Craving #10 in the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter and I absolutely loved it! This book centers on Kane, keeper of Disaster, an all around unlucky warrior thanks to his demon and Josephina, a half fae blood slave. Josephina is blood slave to her fae princess half sister, Synda, who also happens to be keeper of Irresponsibility. As a blood slave, Josephina is punished for all of Synda's mistakes and this is how Josephina, who later gets the nickname "Tinker Bell" meets Kane in hell. She saves him from the minions of Disaster in hell only to make mortal enemies with a Phoenix. Kane tries to fix all of Tink's problems as thanks for saving him and is shocked to discover someone who may have more disasters in their life then he does! All in all this was an awesome addition to the Lords of the Underworld series.

Willow (Blood Vine Series) by Amy Richie

This book was okay. Not fantastic but not awful it's free on Amazon at the time of this post for anyone interested.
Willow (Blood Vine, #1)Willow by Amy Richie
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Willow was an okay book. I can't decide if I liked it a lot, there were moments that I enjoyed but for much of the book it left me with a meh feeling. It was well written but it just seemed to me that certain things weren't explained or they just didn't make much sense. The weird thing about the whole book is the dynamic between the female and the pack. Willow gets jealous whenever any of "the boys" show interest in human girls, stomping around and pouting as if she should be the apple of their eye. IDK, it was annoying.

Forgiven (Angels of Affection #2) by Carly Fall was even better then the first

I was so sad to see this series end but it was an incredible journey!
Forgiven (Angels of Affection #2)Forgiven by Carly Fall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In Forgiven, Liam and Adela are back in their roles of Angels of Affection and this assignment brings them to a secluded cabin in the winter at Lake Tahoe. Their assignment this time seems pretty much cut and dried; they only seem to have one couple living next door who have a very volatile relationship. Along with a surprise third party added to their team, the reluctant Angels of Affection must find a way to bring more love to the world and try to avoid letting hate and evil win. This seems to be the conclusion of the series and I'm sad to see it end!

Betrayed (Angels of Affection #1) by Carly Fall

Carly Fall hit it outta the ballpark on her new Angels of Affection series. I read book one in under a day and am already halfway through book #2 (Forgiven). Here is my review from Goodreads and I hope others like it as much as I do!
Betrayed (Angels of Affection #1)Betrayed by Carly Fall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Betrayed is the first book in an exciting new series written by bestselling author Carly Fall. The premise of the book is due to the current state of the world and all the hate that's brewing in the heart of man, two angels of death (Liam and Adela) are taken from their job by the creator to become angels of affection. Liam died about five years ago fighting a forest fire in Australia and Adela died 300 years ago during the Salem Witch Trials. They are once again given human forms to interact in the world of the living and find the people who are destined to fall in love. This was a solid start to what promises to be a great series.

Rebecca Zanetti's Rising Assets

Rising Assets (Maverick Montana, #3)Rising Assets by Rebecca Zanetti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rising Assets is the funny and sexy new book in Rebecca Zanetti's Maverick Montana series, which is all about the Lodge-Freeze family. This installment revolves around best friends since preschool Colton and Melanie. Melanie has recently gotten some devastating news that she will soon be infertile and Colt is determined to help her any way he can, even if it's only to give her a ride to the fertility clinic so she can conceive the child she dreams of having before it's too late. As the story goes on, Colt finds himself questioning his own rigid plans for his future and just where Mel fits into it.

April Fools' Day with Loki's Wolves

Loki is known in Norse mythology as a trickster and reading this on April Fools' Day may have gone bad for me but I was so pleasantly surprised with this book... for me it was definitely a five star read!
Loki's Wolves (The Blackwell Pages, #1)Loki's Wolves by K.L. Armstrong
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An interesting tale full of Norse mythology, Loki's Wolves started out as a fast read and never slowed down. This is meant for younger readers, but like the some other series, is enjoyable for adult readers too. I absolutely adored it and could barely put it down, wanting to find out what the three main characters, Matt, Fen and Laurie, will need to do next to stop Ragnarok (the end of the world in Norse mythology)from happening. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good adventure!
